RBK has been the pediatric practice our family has used for well over 15 years now. Just this week, we experienced a serious health issue with one of our sons. Everyone at RBK was fantastic, from Dr. Gallub to the office staff. The staff made calls to find places that would immediately take our son for bloodwork & CT scans. We ended up at Good Samaritan Hospital’s Pediatric ER & were impressed that Dr. Gallub called the hospital to speak directly to the head ER physician about her examination of our child & his condition. RBK staff scheduled us with a neurologist the following day who was the same individual that was highly recommended in the ER. During such a stressful experience, we were comforted to know we were in good hands the whole time. We would absolutely refer patients to RBK. Over the years, we’ve seen so many wonderful practitioners there. We feel blessed to have chosen this practice back in 2005 to care for our three children.

We have been to rbk in Bayshore on Saxon ave several times with our newborn to see dr McGill and have waited less than 5 minutes each visit, and she spends time with us explaining and encouraging any questions we have. Even getting next day appointments are easy and quick. When we have questions and call up, we receive same day call backs from the drs. The drs, nurses, and staff are always willing to answer any questions my husband or I have, and always spend time with us and encourage us to stay if the baby needs to be fed. The office is very well kept, and clean which is super important with a newborn and during a pandemic. We feel totally safe. We never feel rushed or feel like our questions are dumb because we are new parents, We would, and have recommended this practice to anyone who asks. Nothing but great experiences so far

Dr. Rehman is a Long Island treasure. If you want the best pediatrician with a great practice that you can be seen quickly even for the developmental pediatricians, then be an RBK patient. You get access to all the locations too. They cannot be beat. I travel from the North Shore to them because they are the best.

RBK Pediatrics was definitely the right choice for our newborn baby boy. As new parents we had a million questions and the doctors each took the time to answer all our questions and they were available for questions over the phone as well. We never feel rushed and we can confidentially say that our son is getting the best care. Thank you RBK!

Well the office was run very well, wait time was only 5 minutes in my car. Wait time in the room was about 10 minutes. I felt safe and comfortable. Nurses were nice as usual but i was displeased with dr. Lukose. She was a know it all who was more concerned with my childs vacvine schedule DURING A PANDEMIC, where for obvious reason i was not taking my kids to unnecessary doctor visits for shots, than the main concern and reason for being there, which was my child being sick!! She brushed off every comment i made, cut me off mid sentence to tell me what i was saying didn’t matter and had a “i know more than you” attitude. She also answered my questions in a condescending way as if My questions were stupid. I was there for MY sick child, not to be pressed on MY choice of scheduling vaccines. I have been going there for 7 years and see ANY doctor. I will be making sure we NEVER see her again!!!

Since I like to have everything on my phone, it is so much easier to confirm appointments online by email or text since sometimes I cant answer the phone at work. I like to be reminded before the appointments because it automatically puts them in my calendar.

I’ve had several issues with the billing department. I always pay my copay before leaving and I’ve been told I have an outstanding balance on three separate occasions. Anna was extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone and was not helpful what so ever. I was very close to switching doctors offices. However doctor Yildirim is our favorite doctor and is always so pleasant and caring towards our baby.

RBK Pediatrics is the best care for my kids – they actually take the time out to ‘look’ at them and don’t make you feel rushed. The staff is incredibly friendly as competent. We have been through quite a few pediatric offices, and we don’t mind the drive at all from our house in Yaphank their office in Bayshore is completely worth it for the service they provide! Also – the Urgent care hours are quite helpful as well should something come up – we have used it a few times.

We have been through quite a few pediatric offices before finding RBK. We actually live more than 20 miles away and still prefer them – so much better, faster service, staff that actually helps you & doctors & nurses that actually answer your questions in a clean environment with updated equipment. I would never go any place else…Unless they opened one near me. The Urgent Care has also helped us through a few unexpected ear infections and tick bites. They are wonderful and always ready to help!

The office does not update payment automatically and I have been billed again when I went for the appointment. Office should be able to collect copayment at time of visit. The doctors are good. Only reason why I go there. The office also made a mistake with my son’s vaccine schedule.

I really love Dr Nick, he is very informative. I did not feel rushed out during my son’s physical, everything was explained in detail. However, he offered to sign us up for a program, but failed to give me any info. Then when leaving I had a few forms for my son’s school, one if which I needed a copy of his immunizations & was also supposed to get a script for lab work. The girl at the front gave me another child’s health records! I never thought to make sure I was given my child’s pprwrk. But for the school to call me & tell me the Dr gave me a different kids immunizations record? I am still waiting for the correct paperwork to come in the mail. Beyond frustrated

I switched to RBK pediatrics a few months ago and haven’t had a problem, and after having my kids seen by Dr. Stein I was overly satisfied. The only thing that really bothered me was the fact that I took my son for a physical and at the time not once did they mention he needed a new vaccine and when I dropped his physical form for his new school they told me they weren’t able to provide me with it until I took him back to get a vaccine done that he hadn’t had yet and needed. Not only did this prolong my time in sending out the forms to the new school he was going to but it took time out of my day to eat this done when I feel it could have been avoided if the staff would have taking the time to thoroughly look to see if everything he needed was taken care of before I left his physical. Besides this incident I am satisfied with RBK

I have 3 chief complaints…(1) Your staff (not doctors) are not the friendly. As a matter of fact, one in particular had a very poor attitude. (2) I prefer an office that doesn’t have so many doctors. That way I don’t have that feeling of a walk in clinic every time I schedule an appointment. The doctor doesn’t have that “familiarity” of the patient. As the parent I constantly have to remind the doctor of previous visits and then they look at the history in the computer. (3) I would appreciate if the Bay Shore office would finally accept debit cards as payment. I very rarely carry cash and it’s a hassle to stop and get cash when you have a sick kid.
