He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in 1975, followed by his Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1980. Dr. Bellovin completed his pediatric residency at North Shore University Hospital in 1983 and fulfilled a four-year commitment to the United States Air Force, where he gained valuable experience in diverse medical environments.
As one of the founding physicians of RBK Pediatrics, Dr. Bellovin played a pivotal role in the practice's transformation, providing visionary leadership that has shaped RBK Pediatrics into the esteemed practice it is today. His commitment to enhancing pediatric care is evident in his innovative approaches and dedication to patient-centered practices.
Dr. Bellovin is board certified by both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatrics, reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of pediatric care. He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Hofstra University School of Medicine, contributing to the education and training of future physicians. Additionally, he is the Chairman of the Pediatric Performance Committee at Good Samaritan Hospital, where he plays a key role in enhancing pediatric care quality and safety.
